인도 SNEHA 학교 교사 역량강화 특별 워크숍 개최

휴먼아시아는 지난 4월 16일부터 17일까지 양일간 인도 아쌈(Assam)주 틴주키아(Tinsukia)에서 SNEHA 산하 3개 학교(Diyun, Vidya Vihar, Vidya Mandir) 교사 20명을 대상으로 인권 친화적 학교(Human Rights-Friendly School)만들기를 주제로 국제교육개발협력 전문가인 홍문숙 박사님을 주 강사로 모시고 특별 워크숍을 진행했습니다.

워크숍을 진행하기에 쉽지 않은 환경과 상황이었지만, SNEHA 학교 교사들이 인권친화적이고 아동 친화적인 학교에 대한 거부감이 없고 긍정적인 인식을 가지고 있음을 확인할 수 있었습니다. 이는 매우 긍정적인 성과입니다.

또한 이번 워크숍에 교사들이 직접 작성한 단기, 중기, 장기적 인권 친화적 학교 만들기 목표들 중 단기적으로 수행할 수 있는 계획들을 다음 워크숍 전까지 실제로 학교에 적용할 수 있도록 휴먼아시아는 계속해서 모니터링하며 지원할 예정입니다.

Teachers’ Empowerment Program: Intensive Workshop for SNEHA

HUMAN ASIA organized Teachers’ Empowerment Intensive Workshop for 20 teachers from three SNEHA schools(Diyun, Vidya Vihar, and Vidya Mandir) in Tinsukia, Assam, India, from April 16 to 17. This workshop was held with Dr. Hong Moon-sook, an expert on international education and development cooperation, as the main lecturer under the theme of “Making Human Rights-Friendly School”.

Although it was not easy to conduct the workshop, we were able to confirm that SNEHA school teachers have a positive attitude towards Human Rights-Friendly and Child-Friendly School. This is a very positive achievement.

In addition, teachers created short-term, mid-term and long-term goals for their schools in order to create Human Rights-Friendly School environment. Human Asia will continue to monitor and support what they can do in the short term to actually apply those plans to the school until the next workshop.
