약 7년간 해외생활을 하며 이방인으로 지내온 저는, 각 사람은 다르지만 그 차이가 때론 “틀림”으로 여겨질 수 있음을 몸소 체험해 왔습니다.
모든 사람에게 평등한 권리가, 같은 잣대가 주어졌으면 좋겠다는 꿈을 가지고 있는 저는 자연스레 인권 중에서도 교육부서에 관심을 갖게 되었습니다.
휴먼아시아에서의 경험과 배움을 통하여 먼저 작은 목소리에 귀기울이는 사람이 되고 싶습니다.

“The society contains people that are not wrong, rather different.”
7 and more years of studying abroad gave me a valuable realization of every human being is different.
However, sometimes that difference can be considered as “wrong”, and gradually I got passion on this issue.
I, the one who has the dream of every single person gets equal right, has interests in the Education as well.
I want to learn and experience how the education enables Human Right issues in the current society to be solved, and I strongly believe Human Asia is the one that supports this.

안녕하세요. 휴먼아시아에서 2개월 동안 일하게 된 임수현입니다.
항상 교육권을 보장받지 못하는 아동들의 이슈에 관심이 많았고,
이에 도움이 되고자 했던 저의 꿈이 휴먼아시아에서 조금이나마 이루어지게 되어 정말 감사하다고 생각합니다.
우리의 노력을 통해 언젠가 모두의 인권이 보장받는 날이 오길 희망합니다.
