ソニーの光学機器の優秀性は、CCDとCMOSセンサーにあります。
ソニーが直接生産するExmor R裏面照射型CMOSイメージセンサーは、より鮮明な画質を誇り、暗い場所や不安定な状況でも、
高品質の画像を撮影するのに優れた性能を持っています。

ソニーは、長年にわたってCCDイメージセンサー市場で首位を維持しており、2009年からCMOSイメージセンサー市場でも圧倒的な位置を
占めています。

ソニーはExmor R裏面照射型CMOSセンサービジネスを積極的に拡大して、デジタルカメラ、ビデオカメラだけでなく、監視カメラ、
ドライブレコーダーカメラなどで画質を一層向上させており、当社はソニーのデバイスの国内販売代理店として販売を担当しています。

Outstanding Visibility under the Starlight.

There is a need for surveillance cameras to film with clear images in a variety of environments.
Sony's image sensors meet this need by providing high-sensitivity performance suitable for night filming.

The STARVIS is back-illuminated pixel technology used in CMOS image sensors for surveillance camera applications.
It features a sensitivity of 2000 mV or more per 1 µm2 (color product, when imaging with a 706 cd/m2 light source, F5.6 in 1 s accumulation equivalent),
and realizes high picture quality in the visible-light and near infrared light regions.

Global Shutter Technology

Sony has incorporated Pregius, a global shutter function, into the CMOS image sensor to meet customer needs.

The Pregius is global shutter pixel technology for active pixel-type CMOS image sensors that use Sony’s low-noise CCD structure, and realizes high picture quality.

Global Shutter In industrial applications there is often a demand to recognize the accurate form of fast-moving objects.
Until now, a rolling shutter has been used as the electronic shutter mechanism in CMOS image sensors; therefore, unavoidable intrinsic distortion of the focal plane occurs.
Sony has incorporated Pregius, a global shutter function, into the CMOS image sensor to meet customer needs.
